A gentle yet powerful practice
Qigong is an ancient movement practice, similar to tai chi — only instead of being developed as a martial art, it was developed for healing. Most of the movements are done slowly while standing. This gentle yet powerful practice puts us in touch with our own vital energy (qi). Whether to naturally relieve pain, maintain wellbeing, or find deeper spiritual connection, qigong is beneficial.

Seasonally themed, these workshops support the organs and meridians associated in Chinese medicine with the time of year. After standing qigong practice, they conclude with a mini acupressure treatment. They take place at Light of Hope in Cranston, RI.
